Which portable monitors do you recommend?

Though our stands work with any portable monitor we personally use and recommend the ASUS Zenscreen MB16ACE or the LG Gram + View. They are both high quality, lightweight and compact screens that are compatible with the FLEXSTA. Note the above links are amazon affiliates.

What is the max height of the portable monitor stand?

Extends up to 38 cm high, then you get an extra 10 cm to the top of the screen.

How heavy is the stand?

250g, the lightest stand you’ll find and it’s ultra compact.

How does the monitor attach to the stand?

Using a metal plate attachment that glues to the back of your portable monitor and an ultra strong magnet that is attached to the stand for quick pack up and pack down.

How much weight can the stand hold?

Portable monitors that are 900g or less.

Can you use your screen horizontally and vertically?

Yes, the FLEXSTA is designed to be used with your monitor in horizontal and vertical position. Providing your monitor doesn't have something on the back of the screen that doesn't allow the metal plate to attach. E.g. some Asus models.

Do I have to pay import tax/VAT?

We are based in the UK so no VAT is charged on UK orders. There are no extra taxes when FLEXSTA is shipped to the UK, US or Canada. For customers outside the UK, US and Canada, please be aware that import duties, taxes, and charges may be incurred, for which you are solely responsible. These charges are determined by your country's customs policies. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost will be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

    This is just what I've been looking for! I custom-ordered this product, and besides the product being amazing, the service is wonderful as well.

    I've always used my portable monitors to the side of my screen and ended up not really looking at them. Now, I can use it above my laptop screen, occupying much less table space than it would sitting beside me.

    And even though people give it a curious look, it's an amazing experience to have double the screen real estate in an incredibly portable format. Really, the only competition are the XREAL glasses, and they're significantly more expensive.

    The stand sits perfectly behind my laptop and it's easy to adjust the screen to the right height. The magnet and screen attachment system is solid and it's easy to attach the screen to the tripod. It packs down super small and has a great build quality.
